Creativity is nurtured by artistic richness
In Spoleto, a culture pervaded city in the grean heart of Umbria, traditionallly enriched creations are signed with the brand of Mastro Raphaël reflecting passion for beauty.
To design its own home textile collections, Mario Arcangeli refers to traditional craft. The brand name Mastro Raphaël is a homage to a craftsman, his father Raffaele, and to those figures reaching back to his childhood called “mastro” who impressed his imaginary.
Mastro Raphaël’s fascination for local savoir-faire still keeps intact today. “… Passing by a place and hearing about a craftsman he is indeed capable to travel many hours in a day to search out this last ring of technique threatened by extinction.”
If Mastro Raphaël belongs to this time frame and uses the last tecnologies to weave and manufacture own bedspreads, cushions, tassels,... its inspiration often derives from archives, from past glorious atmospheres.
Numerous small universes are being rised in its collections, its dreams never end to set up our homes.
As per every year, the Festival of the two Worlds transforms Spoleto into a unique big theater of events.
A hymne to beauty in a naturally divine region along with a precious artistic heritage, embraced and emphasized by the Festival. Unique theater because privileged of first-run- and unpublished works.
Concerts, opera, dance, literature are held in churches and public squares. Art is everywhere... and deploys the storylines of refinement. |
