Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2007: The first summer rays shine on Mastro Raphaël homes
Graceful radiance and pure whiteness of the curtains, draped over coordinated armchairs, or on a boat, in Sardinia, among Piazzetta cushions and the silk frescoes of Fresques Abeilles fabrics.
Hall 3 – Stand F 31
The Mastro Raphaël home opens its doors to summer: linen, silk and cotton take the stage for the new season, bringing with them all the riches of the most antique craft traditions and the colours and fabrics setting the trends today.
Radiance and lightness in the curtains, refined and coordinated Nelson armchairs, elegant and cheerfully coloured cushions decorating the interiors of a yacht, as well as the timeless classic modernity of Fresque Abeille fabrics are the leading players at the Salone del Mobile 2007.
The Curtains
The first rays of summer shine on the Mastro Raphaël home, while a gentle breeze ruffles the lily white curtains. We are dealing once again with items that are unique in their manufacture and design, prestigious fabrics, elegantly finished as only Mastro Raphaël knows how: the main features of a product, the curtains, which decorate rooms with a restrained note of luxury, filtering the summer light and gentle breeze, to represent an aerial partition between interior and exterior.
Flo curtains
Ferns, blueberry shrubs and butterflies embroidered on soft cotton muslin and bordered with linen or on georgette silk with an elegant drop, impressed upon the ivory-coloured fabric that resembles the pages of an antique herbarium.
Vintage Linen Curtains
Unthreaded linen embroidered in vertical or horizontal stripes to make a ribbed piqué pattern, the timeless classic pattern of central Italy enriched by fine fleurs de lys, bees and stars.
Coralli Curtains with vertical stripes
The desire for summer and the seaside enters the home through new curtains embroidered with broad vertical stripes that form a background for sea corals, proposed in a white or coral embroidered ecru shade, or in a lily white version designed with light blue patterns.
The Cushions
Mastro Raphaël invites you aboard, to a striking summer setting where the dazzling white of the sails contrasts with the blue of the sea, waves that break against the bow and come to rest like soft fabrics on the teak bridge. Coordinates that furnish cabins like elegant suites, with a view of the ocean, and mark them out with a refined note of colour.
Piazzetta Cushion Collection
Soft complements born for the elegant homes of the Costa Smeralda, initially a sole prerogative of the exclusive Mastro Raphaël brand shop in Sardinia and then in demand all over Italy. Today this imaginative, lively collection that offers a foretaste of the most cheerful of summer seasons, is given new life with fishes, corals, crabs and starfish as well as stylised butterflies and seashells. All embroideries are performed by knot stitches in an array of colours ranging from capri blue to lily white and écru, from bright red to sunny yellow.
The Fabrics
Fabric collections/Fresques Abeilles fabrics
Further evolution of the elegant Fresques silk collection (42 colour shades, two patterns, plain or cannetté, and with the Damask and Bark designs in Ca’ Rezzonico variations only), Fresques Abeilles, with its typical bee embroidery, is presented in some of the Fresques shades: écru, sand, cream and dark brown/cerulean.
The refined bee embroidery uses the Fresques plain and cannetté shades combined in numerous ways with the Metropolitan fabric shades (fragment and cashmere pattern as well as coordinated velvet variations), thus representing a unique coordinated system made up of the previous Fresques and Metropolitan and the latest Fresques Abeilles models.
