CHOOSE YOUR MOOD with Mastro Raphaël: Animal lover, vintage, romantic or glamour
The new A/W 2008 collections of household linens, curtains and rugs expressing style and soul of the home.
Always in tune with the times, with changing fashions and the newest trends in interior décor, Mastro Raphaël presents the latest autumn collection creations and invites you to choose your own style in furnishing fabrics and linens, curtains and rugs.
Fabrics, patterns and colours designed to meet all requirements and tastes: Mastro Raphaël, Italian tradition of elegance, once again catches the most up-to-date mood with its top-class quality and materials.
Mood is synonymous with style and character. All new Mastro Raphaël fabrics reflect a personality: there's the wildlife-seeking soul of the fashion explorer and the vintage-nostalgic one, the dreamy-romantic one, or the essential, minimalist one, the one hankering after luxurious opulence – to create a home to be lived in and explored.
SAFARIS, ETC.: THE EXOTIC WILDLIFE-SEEKING SOUL OF THE FASHION EXPLORER
Curious and vain, the fashion explorer is an aesthete who combines wildlife motifs and their warm, exotic charm with the furnishings of the contemporary home.
The seductive crocodile skin in the LAGOON collection, reproduced as quilting style as well as loomed jacquard fabrics, always has great appeal, with its warm tones of exotic nature.
The "lizard" glamour pattern in the new jacquard LAGOON bedspread with matching sheets and the elegant giant crocodile motifs reproduced on the CAIMAN bedspread, again in jacquard, are also highly attractive.
The SAFARI RESORT collection has been extended too, with the popular pattern repeated on curtain fabrics.
The wildlife motifs continue in Mastro Raphaël's special rug collection, with ZEBRA, GIUNGLA and LAGOON, brought up to date with inspirations drawn from warm, African themes.

THE EVERGREEN FEEL OF THE VINTAGE-NOSTALGIC MOOD
An eternal love for vintage-nostalgic style is reflected in the DOMUS bedspread with its design recalling the Fifties – a fitting tribute to designer Giò Ponti's style magazine.
While INGRID, with its bright, embossed geometric patterns, takes up the theme of the Victoria bedspread, the KELLY curtain and fabrics feature, cheerful, pretty bows decorated on white and ecru linen gauze, hence bringing back the happiest memories of childhood.
DREAMY AND ROMANTIC: A CLASSIC AMONG THE STYLES OFFERED BY MASTRO RAPHAËL
With its delicate and sometimes sentimental patterns and colours, the romantic feel of the EX NOVO collection comes from the amazing, new embroidery technique in its one duvet and quilt model constructed in vertical bands, enhanced with a pure-white floral decoration that appears again on the borders of the matching towels.
Complementing this pattern, there's ROCCANTICA - an extension of the rich Mastro Raphaël "Charme" section - presenting three new curtain styles: MEDAGLIONE (Medallion), FESTONE (Festoon) and MANTOVANA (Pelmet). These are exciting curtains, in billowing ecru linen gauze with giant art nouveau-inspired motifs, embroidered with high-density stitching.

ADDICTED TO LUXURY: GIVING THE HOME A LUXURIOUS, OPULENT FEEL
Gold and myrrh - ORO & MIRRA - are the precious, shiny substances that gleam in the bedroom as it is transformed into a real treasure: in the new collection, two bright variants of the quilt (and one of the eiderdown), are enriched with a gold and silver Lurex-thread fabric. It's only the quilting that's different - with or without embroidery.
An elegant sheen that never descends into bad taste harks back to the theme of the daisies decorating the other eiderdowns and quilts, as well as the duvet cover and towels - both with sumptuous, all-over embroidery.
There's an absolute love of luxury pervading the high fashion curtains of the CORTEGIANA collection, brought back again with the new COFFEA and FLORES styles: both of these can be produced either in linen or in silk. While Coffea has two-coloured horizontal bands and merry pom-poms coming down from the top in unequal lengths, reminiscent of the fruits of the coffee-plant, Flores has material flounces to give an elegant finish to the curtain headings.
